Underway right now - Feb 26th to April 26thNorth PoleLinda, Rob and Sarah are departing from the northern tip of Canada to the North Pole on February 26th. For 60 days they will travel 780 kms on sea ice with a goal of reaching the North Pole in April. Linda will celebrate her 50th birthday on April 15th. Rob too will have a birthday party on the ice. Tom Smitheringale - unsupported and solo to the North Pole. Tom will join Linda, Rob and Sarah on the flight to get to the starting point. From then on he will pull his sleds over the ice ridges and leads on his own. Tom is carrying all of his food for the whole trip (Linda, Rob and Sarah are getting in resupplies)
